Suffolk Police are investigating a social media post regarding a potential threat to King’s Fork High School, according to a city press release.
The threat was put out on social media Thursday morning. Suffolk Police responded to the school and initiated an investigation, the press release stated.
Suffolk Police increased their presence at the school on Tuesday as a precaution. At this time, it is not believed this was a credible threat, and police are investigating the origin of the post.
The incident remains under investigation. No additional information is available for release at this time.
