Thank you for the article and photograph of “Boy Charged with Beating Kitten” on May 31. I hope this brings awareness of animal abuse to our community.

What a heartbreaking story to read with a very sad ending. I went to adopt the kitten Friday, but he had passed away on June 2 with severe internal injuries.
