Police investigate armed robbery

Suffolk Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Friday.
The robbery occurred in the 1100 block of Portsmouth Boulevard, outside in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven store at that location. Emergency Communications was notified of the incident at 1:23 a.m.
The preliminary investigation has determined that two subjects armed with handguns approached two juvenile occupants in a vehicle and demanded their property. The suspects fled in a vehicle. No injuries were reported.
Police released a surveillance photo of one of the suspects. No additional information is available, they stated.
