Police have identified the victim in Wednesday evening’s fatal crash on Wilroy Road.

Audrey Lynette Williams, 63, of Suffolk, died in the crash, according to a city press release.

The investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing.

The single-vehicle accident happened in the 1000 block of Wilroy Road in the area of Shingle Creek. It was reported at 7:23 p.m.

The woman was the only occupant.
