It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely transition of James Alan Lane Jr. on Friday, April 30, 2021. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 38070 Rocky Hock Road, Wakefield, VA 23888. Interment will take place in the Stringfield Family Cemetery, Wakefield. Viewing will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2021, at Shivers Funeral Chapel.
