Roland Lee “R.L.” Carpenter passed away peacefully on March 31, 2021, at his home in Chuckatuck. R.L.’s memorial service will be at 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Charlie Peterson officiating. Committal and inurnment will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 8, at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the 82nd Airborne Division Association Inc.
