Police investigate armed robbery

Suffolk Police are investigating a commercial armed robbery that happened early Monday morning.
According to a city press release, the robbery was reported at 2:17 a.m. from the 7-Eleven store in the 2100 block of North Main Street. Two subjects wearing black clothes, black ski masks and gloves entered the store armed with handguns and obtained an unknown amount of money and merchandise before leaving the store on foot. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
The robbery remains under investigation.
