Police investigate undetermined death

Suffolk Police Department investigators and other staff work on the scene of an undetermined death in the Cherry Street public parking lot on Friday evening.

UPDATE: Suffolk Police say there was no foul play involved.

Earlier: Suffolk Police are investigating an undetermined death that was reported Friday evening.

The adult male was found inside a vehicle in the city parking lot in the 100 block of Cherry Street, according to city spokesman Tim Kelley. Emergency Communications was notified at 5:11 p.m.

The death remains under investigation, and no additional information was available for release at this time, Kelley stated.
