The Suffolk Police Department is actively searching for a suspect who is wanted on several outstanding warrants, according to a city press release.

Milton Franklin Mizell Jr., 46, of Suffolk, has black hair and brown eyes. He stands approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds, and has a medium build.

He is wanted on warrants including possession of a controlled substance, contempt of court, aggravated malicious wounding, and two counts of assault and battery of a family member.
