The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ basketball team secured the TCIS regular season title last Friday in a win.

The Lady Saints took on Steward School last Friday at home. With a 53-44 win, NSA will head into the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools tournament as the No. 1 seed and the outright regular season champions. It was a strong win for NSA as both teams were ranked No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, in the state polls for Division II.

Alivia Giles led the way with 14 points, with Maren Council adding 11 as she went 3-5 from beyond the arc.
