Police seek fraud suspect

The Suffolk Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying a female allegedly wanted for connections to credit card theft and credit card fraud.
The theft and fraud happened on Dec. 31 in the 4300 block of Pughsville Road, according to a city press release. The unknown woman possibly stole the victim’s purse from the victim’s parked car. The victim’s wallet containing her credit cards and various other items were inside of her purse at the time.
As the victim returned to her vehicle, she reportedly saw the alleged suspect in the area, but did not know her purse was missing.
The woman allegedly was seen on security cameras using the stolen credit cards to buy various items at different locations. Photos from the surveillance were released to the media.
