The Lakeland High School boys’ basketball team took a 66-65 loss in overtime against Wilson High School Wednesday night.

The Cavs went on the road Wednesday night to take on Wilson but fell by just a point. The game went into overtime as Lakeland got a big game from Clint Wright Jr., who scored 27 points on 8-of-14 shooting. Lakeland had three players in double figures, as Devonte Saunders and Ray Bellamy added 12 and 11, respectively. Saunders also added nine rebounds.

After two straight close losses, Lakeland is 10-5 on the season.
