The Nansemond River High School girls’ basketball team defeated Hickory High School last Friday for their third win of the season.

The Lady Warriors won big last Friday in a district matchup against Hickory. In a 50-41 win, it was a solid get for Nansemond River that recently snapped a four-game losing streak. Tseday Brown led the way for the Lady Warriors with 20 points.

Nansemond River will try to add another win at home this Friday against Oscar Smith High School.
