Lady Saints win fifth straight

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ basketball team got its fifth win a row against Hampton Roads Academy.
The 59-28 win Tuesday night at home marked the fifth straight win for the Lady Saints. The first quarter was the closest of the game between the two, as NSA only held a 16-13 lead. However, NSA only allowed two points in the second quarter, outscoring HRA 19-2.
Alivia Giles led the way for the Lady Saints with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Maren Council added 13 points, and Cammy Reid added 11.
