The Nansemond River High School swim teams earned wins over Indian River High School Thursday evening.

The boys’ swim team went to 3-2 on the season after a 128-38 win over Indian River. Andrew Betts led the way with two individual first-place finishes for the boys’ team. Justin Croft, Cameron Wilkins, Jonathan Sullivan and Victor Anaya all had first-place individual finishes. The boys’ team also had three relay teams take first place.

On the girls’ side, they earned a 136-20 win, going to 4-2 on the year. Danae Martin, Ashlynn Swaim and Cynthia Moss each won two individual events on the night. Oliva Browning and Rana Ceribasi both had a first-place finish. Like the boys’ team, the girls’ team had three relay teams finish in first place.
