Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Kianna Gray, freshman, Lakeland High School basketball: Gray averaged 20 points in two wins for the Lady Cavs in the Boo Williams Holiday tournament.
• Jayden Epps, sophomore, King’s Fork High School basketball: Epps averaged 28 points per game in the King’s Fork Holiday Tournament while also taking tournament MVP.
