Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Clint Wright Jr., senior, Lakeland High School basketball: Wright scored 23 points and earned game MVP in a win over Churchland High School.

Quadaia Coles, junior, King’s Fork High School basketball: Coles scored 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in a win over Salem High School.

Selby Heyman, senior, Nansemond River High School swimming: Heyman placed first in four events, including two individual events and two relays, in the Warriors’ win over the Bulldogs.
