Members of Magnolia United Methodist Church will hold their fourth annual bazaar on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, located at 1764 Wilroy Road.
There will be breakfast items like eggs and sausage biscuits, and lunch will offer patrons soups and sandwiches, said Judi Delpiero, co-coordinator of the bazaar along with Doris Warf.
The country store will have a plethora of tasty food for sale, including sweet potatoes, collards, country ham, hoop cheese, home-canned goods, pimento cheese, and chicken salad by the pound — all homemade. The bake shop will also have plenty of cakes, pies, cookies and other treats.
The church’s craft shop will feature handmade Christmas gifts, such as Christmas wreaths, child-sized chairs, picture frames, shawls, afghans, ornaments, different crocheted items and more.
While their parents are shopping, children ages 12 and younger will also be able to peruse in the kids’ shop, in which everything costs $2 or less. They’ll be able to choose from books, toys, candles and plenty of gifts for their parents, Delpiero said.
“Just a variety of things for children to either shop for other people, and when they go in, they always end up getting something for themselves,” she said.
There will also be a kids’ activity room, where there will be Christmas-themed craft projects and other activities for them to enjoy while their parents are shopping.
They’ll also be able to get a picture with Mr. and Mrs. Claus at the event.
“We hope everyone will come out and have a good time,” Delpiero said.
