Vivian Elizabeth Owens Wiggins, 90, of Suffolk, passed away peacefully at Sentara Obici Hospital, 2800 Godwin Blvd., Suffolk, on Nov. 11, 2019.

She was born in Pasquotank County, N.C., the only child of the late Arthur Vernon McClease and Amanda Delilah Owens Hembree.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Wilbert Wiggins Sr.

She is survived by her four beloved children, Shirley C. Little, of Newport News, Vicki C. Wiggins-Pittman (Stanley), of Suffolk, Bill Johnson (Vivian), of Chesapeake, and Wilbert Wiggins Jr. (Karen), of Suffolk; four grandchildren, Joy, Chris, Keisha and Carl; 10 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Cennie James; three godchildren, Nadine Eason, Iris Michelle Roberts and Dontrell Jamar Silver; and a host of cousins and close friends.

A homegoing celebration service will be held at Canaan Baptist Church, 2064 Nansemond Parkway, Suffolk, at noon on Monday, Nov. 18. Viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m., and interment will finalize this earthly journey at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, 4569 Shoulders Hill Road, Suffolk, VA 23435. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at 1090 Fairgrounds Lane, Suffolk, at the home of Wilbert and Karen Wiggins.
