The Peanut City Cloggers recently competed in the 2019 ACHF National Championships held in Gatlinburg, Tenn., on Oct. 25-26.

The group took nine routines to nationals with the following results:

First Places:

• Elem. Running Set Hoedown
• Jr. Running Set Hoedown
• Elem. Open Hoedown

 

Second Places:

• Adult Running Set Hoedown
• Jr. Country Hoedown

 

Third Places:

• YA (Young Adult) Open Hoedown
• YA Southern App.
• YA Show

 

Jr. Running Set Hoedown won Grand Champion and 1st Runner Up to Overall Traditional Team (Tiny Tot-Jr.)

 

Best Caller of the Day Winner — Marcus Blodgett

Best Couple — Jeff Hill and Judi Lester

 

Solos 1st place — Judi Lester, Jeff Hill

2nd Place — Joann Bricker Price

The Peanut City Cloggers will be offering clogging classes again this year starting Jan. 23. The classes will run for eight weeks, meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursdays. The cost is $100 for the full class. If interested, contact Judi Lester at 944-0540 or judilester1219@gmail.com.
