Police investigate shooting

Suffolk police are investigating a shooting that happened Monday afternoon.
The shooting was reported at 1:31 p.m. at the corner of North Broad Street and Second Avenue, according to a city press release.
An adult male victim with a single gunshot wound was transported to a hospital with injuries not deemed life-threatening.
The shooting remains under investigation.
