The Lakeland High School boys’ volleyball team earned a season-closing win over Wilson High School.

Lakeland will head into the playoffs with some momentum after a win over Wilson Thursday night. With the win, Lakeland finishes 6-13 for the regular season. Coach Tarijuana Napoleon felt good about the way her boys’ team was able to close the regular season strong.

“I feel good about their growth,” Napoleon said. “We are coming together as a team, and I expect them to play and do well in the playoffs.”

The Cavs know the key to having any kind of success in the playoffs is to play fundamental volleyball and to limit their mistakes. Napoleon stated recently that she felt the core of Lakeland’s schedule will prove to be beneficial for them on their playoff journey this season.
