Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Leo Wethington, senior, King’s Fork High School football: Wethington rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown in a Bulldogs win over Hickory High School.

Marlon Sellers, senior, Nansemond River High School football: Sellers had two touchdowns, which included a kick return and an interception return against Lakeland High School.

Emaryi Williams, senior, Lakeland High School volleyball: Williams had a strong performance for the Lady Cavs in their win over Wilson High School.
