Bulldogs take series against Cavs

The King’s Fork High School boys’ volleyball team picked up a 3-1 win over Lakeland High School Thursday night.
For the second time this season, the Bulldogs volleyball team defeated the Cavs in a four-set games. With the win, the Bulldogs take the series and finish 3-1 against Suffolk foes for this season. Tye Croley had seven kills, two blocks and three digs. Darius Dunn had six kills, two blocks and two digs. Kyle Petrasek has five kills, 13 digs and three aces. Carlo Cecchini had four kills, 17 assists, two blocks and two aces. Avontae Burke had five kills.
“We played great out there,” Coach Angie Gatling said. “We tried some things in the second set that need a bit more work, but overall the guys looked great and played great as a team.”
