The Lakeland High School girls’ volleyball team earned a 3-1 win over Oscar Smith High School.

The Lady Cavs snapped a six-game losing streak Tuesday night with the win. It was a good win for Lakeland, a team that is looking to pick up some momentum as the regular season comes to an end next week.

Next for Lakeland is a matchup with King’s Fork High School. Lakeland won the first meeting 3-0. Lakeland can take the series with a win Thursday night. With a win, Lakeland will finish 2-2 against Suffolk opponents, having taken losses to its other rival, Nansemond River High School.
