Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Aryn Kinsey, Lakeland High School field hockey: Kinsey scored five goals in two wins for the Lady Cavs.

Addy Greene, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy volleyball: Greene had 21 kills in two games for the Lady Saints, surpassing 1,000 for her career.

Brent Stratton, senior, Nansemond River High School football: Stratton rushed for 100 yards which included a 60-plus yard touchdown in the Warriors win over rival King’s Fork High School.
