The Nansemond River High School girls’ volleyball team took its first loss of the season against Western Branch High School.

The game lasted four sets, but the Lady Warriors were on the losing side Thursday night at Western Branch. The loss snapped a seven-game winning streak for the Lady Warriors, who are now 7-1 on the year.

Nansemond River will look to bounce back against Grassfield High School at home Tuesday night.
