Suffolk Police are investigating a stabbing that happened early Friday morning.

The crime was reported at 2:36 a.m., according to a city press release. Police responded to the 100 block of North Capital Street and found an adult male suffering from a stab wound that reportedly occurred in the 1100 block of Clarys Drive.

The victim was transported to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

The incident remains under investigation, the press release stated.
