Suffolk Police are investigating a shooting that took place Thursday evening.

The shooting was reported at 5:45 p.m. at Hoffler Apartments in the 2200 block of East Washington Street, according to a city press release.

An adult male victim was airlifted via Nightingale with injuries not considered life-threatening.

The incident remains under investigation, and no additional information is available for release, the press release stated.
