The Lakeland High School softball team took the season series with Indian River High School Wednesday evening.

The Lady Cavs got it done in six innings this time around with a 12-2 win. Aryn Kinsey was 3-5 from the plate with two RBIs and two doubles for Lakeland. Brooke Howe was 4-5 with an RBI, and Maddie Truit was 3-5.

Hayleigh Presson handled pitching duties and allowed only one hit and one run.
