SCA wins big over Cape Henry

The Suffolk Christian Academy softball team picked up a 17-2 win over Cape Henry Collegiate Thursday afternoon.
The Lady Knights put together their third win in a row after a 17-2 win on the road. SCA used the first two innings of the game to put it out of reach. The Lady Knights scored 16 runs between the first and second innings to take a 16-2 lead over Cape Henry. As a team, SCA had 18 hits and 17 RBIs.
Emily Fowler led the way in hits, going 4-4 with three runs and two RBIs. Zoe Wheeler and Daphne Franklin added three hits each with three RBIs each. Fowler handled pitching duties as well, striking out three. Nine Lady Knights scored a run and eight Lady Knights had a hit, showing an all-around team effort in a dominant win for SCA, which is now 4-7 on the season.
