King’s Fork grabs fourth shutout

The Lady Bulldogs went on the road to Franklin High School Monday evening and earned another shutout.

The King’s Fork High School girls’ soccer team took care of business with a 6-0 shutout win over Franklin. The win puts King’s Fork at a 3-1-2 record on the season. All three wins this season for King’s Fork have been scoreless for the other team.

Lonni Cox led the way again with two goals, with five different Lady Bulldogs getting on the scoreboard Monday evening. Cox now has 10 goals through six games this season. Madison Stone and Katelyn Woods were credited with the shutout in goal.

King’s Fork will take on Granby High School at Powhatan Field at Old Dominion University at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
