Saints come in at No. 4

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy baseball team came in ranked at No. 4 in the first Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II poll.
At 6-2-1, NSA is off to a strong start this season and looks to be getting better. They competed against Atlantic Shores Christian School last Friday and tied the game at 2-2. Before the tie, NSA had won four straight games.
NSA went extra innings with Atlantic Shores, but no team scored a run in the final five innings of the game. Hyatt Hurst went 3-5 on the day with two RBIs and a double. Four Saints shared pitching duties, with Colby Owens getting most of the duty and striking out seven.
