The owners of Simply Vintage, an upscale vintage, furniture and arts collective, recently announced the store’s grand opening from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 13 in conjunction with an open-air Vintage Market.
Simply Vintage, located at 3117B Kings Highway in Driver, features handmade artisanal home décor, vintage refurbished and painted furniture, jewelry and one-of-a-kind gifts.
Owners Cindy Chang, a premiere retailer for Dixie Belle Paint Company and Junkyard Goddess, Jennifer Johnson, the Resident Resin and Acrylic Pour Painting and Mexican Folk-Art Artisan and Mia Copeland, a Chalk Couture Independent Designer are excited to welcome customers. Alongside the retail space, there will be a room to invite visitors for events classes, and workshops.
“Driver is such a wonderful community,” Copeland said. “We have been a part of this historic village for several years as artisans and customers. When the opportunity came about for us to open a boutique, it was something we couldn’t let pass by.”
“Each day we’re blown away not just by the talent that’s being collected here, but by the kindness and sense of community in Driver,” Chang said.
“We can’t wait for customers to see the renovations for the retail space,” Johnson said. “Our customers are like family. We hope they will be just as excited about the changes and what we have to offer to the community.”
The retail shop plans to be open Wednesdays through Sundays after the grand opening. You can follow, like and share Simply Vintage on Facebook and Instagram @simplyvintageva. A website will be developed soon.
