Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Madison Inscoe, freshman, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy softball: Inscoe pitched a perfect game in a Lady Saints win over Norfolk Christian. She also went 2-2 with three RBIs from the plate.

Alex Feeney, junior, Suffolk Christian Academy baseball: Feeney went 3-5 with three runs and five RBIs and a home run in a win over Denbigh Baptist.

Cali Hinnant, junior, King’s Fork High School softball: Hinnant struck out eight from the circle and hit a home run from the plate in a Lady Bulldogs win over Deep Creek High School.

Caleb Pittman, senior, Nansemond River High School baseball: Pittman struck out 13 in seven innings in a win against Western Branch High School.
