KF shuts out Wilson in opener

The King’s Fork High School softball team went on the road Monday evening to take on Wilson High School.
The Lady Bulldogs grabbed a 13-0 shut-out win to start off the season at 1-0. The Lady Bulldogs played an error-free game and gave up only one hit.
Cali Hinnant pitched five innings and struck out 10. Three Lady Bulldogs had three hits each, with Amaya Allen going 3-4, Isabella Gay going 3-3 and Baxley Lockhart going 3-4 with a home run.
King’s Fork will take on Hickory High School at Hickory Thursday evening.
