New business starts
EEG Concepts LLC, run by Doug Holland, has started business at 150 W. Washington St., Suite 150 G.
The business is dedicated to helping decrease symptoms of depression and anxiety as well as treatment for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism, chronic pain and post-traumatic stress disorder, according to a press release.
“We do this with an all-natural approach known as neurofeedback, which is a form of brain training that encourages subtle brain changes in brain regulation over time, which produces positive results that last.”

Edward Jones named admired company
Financial services firm Edward Jones has been named to FORTUNE magazine’s list of the World’s Most Admired Companies, a ranking of the most respected and reputable companies. The firm ranked fourth in the category of Securities/Asset Management.
Based on a survey of 3,750 executives, directors, analysts and experts, the ranking takes into account nine criteria from investment value and quality of management and products, to social responsibility and the ability to attract talent.
To create this list, FORTUNE magazine and Korn Ferry whittled down a list of about 1,500 of the world’s largest companies based on revenue to a pool of 680 with the highest revenues in 30 countries. A total of 330 companies make the final list.

Asian restaurant to open in Suffolk
Domoishi recently leased 1,400 square feet of retail space located at 6215 College Drive in Suffolk, according to Divaris Real Estate.
The sushi and hibachi restaurant also recently leased a total of 2,800 square feet of retail space at two other shopping centers, both in Virginia Beach.
Aeri Jai represented the tenant in all of the lease negotiations. To date, Jai has represented Domoishi for a total of five new locations in Southeast and Central Virginia.
