Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Jeshawn Walker, senior, Lakeland High School track: Walker won two regional titles in the 1,000- and 1,600-meter runs and was part of a first-place 4×400 team.
• Keontae Boyette, senior, King’s Fork High School basketball: Boyette scored 37 points in the Bulldogs’ regional opener win over Deep Creek High School.
• Jeremiah Lewis, senior, Nansemond River High School basketball: Lewis scored nine points, grabbed 16 rebounds and had six blocks in an overtime regional win over Kecoughtan High School.
