The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy boys’ basketball team came in at No. 9 in the weekly state poll.

For this week’s Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II poll, NSA came in at No. 9. In the previous couple of weeks, NSA had been in the eighth position. The Saints currently hold a 15-7 record and could continue to improve on their ranking with a couple of regular season games along with the conference tournament.

NSA grabbed a win over Portsmouth Christian School last weekend and is set for two games this week. The school will host its senior night at 7 p.m. Friday against Greenbrier Christian Academy.
