Bulldogs continue to roll

The King’s Fork High School boys’ basketball team completed the season series against Grassfield on the road on Friday.
They took a 77-60 win for their 14th victory of the season. At halftime of the game, the Bulldogs only held a 30-27 lead, but they took over in the second half.
Keontae Boyette added 19 points, with Tyler Chatman adding 17 points to go along with eight rebounds. LaQual Mizelle added 17 points and eight rebounds as well.
King’s Fork has not scored fewer than 70 points in nine straight games.
The Bulldogs will have a rematch with Western Branch High School Tuesday night at home at 7 p.m. Western Branch took the first meeting, giving the Bulldogs their first loss of the season. Coach Rick Hite said the late execution in the game cost the Bulldogs the win the first time around. They will get a chance to even the season series Tuesday night.
