Tigers too much for Warriors

Nansemond River High School boys’ basketball team fell to Oscar Smith High School last Friday.
The Warriors took their second loss to Oscar Smith this season. Nansemond River matched up with a tough team who is currently at the top of the Southeastern District. The Tigers only have one loss on the season, and the Warriors weren’t able to do much, losing 80-54.
Justin Fatherly had a nice showing leading the Warriors with 16 points. Jeremiah Lewis was the only other player in double figures with 11 points.
Nansemond River will go on the road to take on Great Bridge High School at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
