Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Kemonye Canady, freshman, Lakeland High School basketball: Canady scored 20 points, six steals and four rebounds in the Lady Cavs’ win over Hickory High School.
• Leontre Bailey, senior, King’s Fork High School: Bailey scored 20 points in the Bulldogs’ win over Indian River High School.
• Taylor Pacquette, senior, Nansemond River High School: Pacquette scored 15 points in the Lady Warriors’ win over Hickory High School.
• Cammy Reid, freshman, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy basketball: Reid scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds in NSA’s win over Norfolk Christian.
