Young continues hot start in KF win

Nylah Young went for a season-high 34 points in the Lady Bulldogs’ win over Smithfield High School last Saturday.
Young continues to score at a high level. In a win over Western Branch High School last Friday, Young pitched in 30 points and 13 rebounds in a 66-54 win. King’s Fork then hosted Smithfield High School at its showcase Saturday night. Young went for 34 points in a 69-49 win. It is her fourth 30-plus point game in seven games so far. Their record sits at 5-2 on the season now.
The Lady Bulldogs will go on the road at 7 p.m. Tuesday to take on Oscar Smith High School.
