Michael Bakwin, 84, of Suffolk, passed away on Dec. 3, 2018, surrounded by family. A devoted father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Michael is survived by his sister, Barbara Rosenthal, four daughters, two sons, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and his beloved cat, Phoebe.

A memorial gathering will be held on Dec. 15 for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Michael’s granddaughter’s NPO, Grace and Glory, at 540 Weeping Elm Road, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. Michael was extremely proud and supportive of this organization.
