One injured, one in custody after shooting

A man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a shooting on Wednesday morning.
The shooting was reported at 11:50 a.m. in the 200 block of Columbus Avenue in the South Suffolk neighborhood, according to a city press release. Officers found an adult male victim suffering from two gunshot wounds. The man was transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance for treatment of injuries determined potentially life-threatening, the release stated.
An adult male suspect is in custody, and the investigation remains ongoing, the release stated.
