Lady Saints fall in a close one

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ basketball team fell 44-42 to Norfolk Academy on the road Tuesday night.
The Lady Saints start the season 0-1 dropping their first game. The game was tied with four seconds left before a tip-in pushed Norfolk Academy ahead for the win. Alivia Giles led the way for NSA with 21 points on the night.
NSA has two more games this week, as the Lady Saints take on Stonebridge School in the home opener Thursday night at 5:30 p.m. They will go back on the road Friday night to take on Collegiate School at 5:30 p.m.
