Evangelist Ruby Bell Pope, 90, ascended peacefully home to be with the Lord on Nov. 10, 2018. Ruby was a devoted disciple of God who shared the doctrine of Jesus Christ her entire life.

She was preceded by her spouse, Vernon T. Pope (2012), and a daughter, Virginia Lee Pope (1997).

Her memory and legacy will be cherished by daughter, Lovular (Kenneth) Hunter, of Hampton; five grandchildren: Paula (Keith) Nelson, Vera Colander, Deric Colander, Tonjykua Stagg and Kenneshia (Ian) Bacon; 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of beautiful great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial homegoing service will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 24, 2018, at Christ Church Apostolic, located at 39 Joynes Road, Hampton.
