Isle of Wight County Schools are attempting to actively identify and evaluate children ages 2 through 21 who are in need of special education services or protection under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
If you suspect your child may have delays or disabilities, you can bring your child for a brief screening of the child’s fine and gross motor skills, speech language development and cognitive abilities.
The screenings will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Nov. 26 at Carrollton Elementary School, 14440 New Towne Haven Lane, Carrollton, and from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 29 at Windsor Elementary School, 20008 Courthouse Highway, Windsor.
Call the Special Education Department at 365-1616 with any questions.
