Our thanks to the Suffolk News-Herald for its reporting of the Nansemond River Garden Club’s 90th anniversary event on Oct. 23, featuring nationally known floral decorator John Grady Burns.

Held at the Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront, the event had more than 200 guests who came from across Hampton Roads and North Carolina to enjoy a day of vendor shopping, Burns’ flower demonstration and lunch. What amazing exposure for our wonderful city!

All funds raised through the event will be dedicated to a beautification project for the city of Suffolk.
