The Nansemond River High School boys’ volleyball team swept Lakeland High School Tuesday night.

Lakeland is still looking for its first win of the season after a road loss to Nansemond River Tuesday evening. Nansemond River took the match 3-0, and with that win they swept half of their cross-town rivals. Nansemond River will have to go on the road Thursday to try to earn a split with their other rival, King’s Fork High School. King’s Fork took the last meeting.

Lakeland will be on the road against Indian River High School looking for their first win. The Cavs have been close but have yet to get over the hump.
